Transitioning, becoming ARMY & dissecting binaries: Ran Rice's ARMY story

On today’s episode I am fortunate enough to be interviewing an essayist from my latest book project I Am ARMY: We don’t need permission. This book features a collection of essays from ARMY from around the world that share their stories of how they found BTS and who they are.

Ran Rice is an academic and writer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Having recently graduated from the University of Minnesota his studies were primarily on psychology and gender and queer studies. He is passionate about healthcare for all and advocates for trans rights within healthcare systems and social policy… and of course, he is an ARMY. You can find him on Instagram and Twitter @chickenbitz_ and Instagram @chcknbtz.

I Am ARMY: We don’t need permission is out on February 27, 2023. You can grab a copy at revoltbooks.com, by ordering through your local indie retailer, as well as Amazon and Book Depository.
